Brett Levi, baritone
Brett is a native of Flat Rock, North Carolina. A new member of the HCE, he graduated from Clemson University in 2020 with a B.S. in agribusiness and a minor in music. Brett is the program manager for Clemson’s Office of Research Development and is the associate director of music and organist at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Hendersonville, North Carolina. His mother, a church musician and public school music teacher, influenced him from an early age in singing and playing the piano and organ. In middle school he discovered his love and passion for church music. At Clemson, Brett studied organ with Dr. Linda Dzuris. He sang under the direction of Dr. Anthony Bernarducci in CU Singers, Cantorei, and Men’s Choir, and Rev. Rick Baumgarner in the Sanctuary Choir at Easley First Baptist Church. Brett Joined the Chorale and Herring Camber Ensemble in 2022. His favorite aspect of singing is the unity experienced by those involved. Soli Deo Gloria.
