Katelin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Choral Education from Winthrop University and is a fully certified Kodály music educator. She serves as a music teacher and choir director at Fountain Inn Elementary School in Simpsonville, South Carolina, where she teaches Pre-K through fifth grade and leads the Firefly Chorus. Her students regularly perform at community events and were invited to collaborate with the Fountain Chorale in 2025. Katelin also serves as an area director for Spring Sing, the Greenville County School District honor choir.
In addition to her work in elementary music education, Katelin has performed with the Greenville Chorale and Herring Chamber Ensemble since 2015. She is passionate about fostering a classroom environment of joy and belonging and creating meaningful musical opportunities for her young students.
