Craig Philip Price

Craig is a South Carolina native and has lived in Greenville since 2019 where he serves on the voice faculty at Furman University and is a soloist at First Baptist Greenville. He holds degrees in voice performance from Furman and Manhattan School of Music, and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of South Carolina. Dr. Price has sung with organizations across the country including Central City Opera, Kentucky Opera, Charlottesville Opera, Opera Saratoga, Owensboro Symphony, and the South Carolina Philharmonic. He has been featured in concert performing the works of Handel, Schubert, Mozart, Saint-Saëns, Fauré, the solo cantatas of J.S. Bach, and a number of new music works. In 2011, he had the honor of being the featured soloist for legendary American opera composer Carlisle Floyd’s induction into the SC Hall of Fame. Craig joined the Chorale and the Herring Ensemble in 2019.
