Kelley Addison

mezzo-soprano

Kelley credits her Greenville upbringing with providing exceptional opportunities in music education and performance. She studied at The Fine Arts Center and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music Theory from Furman University, where she sang in Furman Singers, Chamber Singers, the Honeybees, and various student showcases. She enjoys composing for piano and voice, and taught private lessons for many years. Having lived in several regions, Kelley has been a member of the Connecticut Grand Opera Chorus, Baltimore Choral Arts Society, and Durham Choral Arts, and has performed in a variety of musical theatre, church, and popular music settings. A passionate supporter of the performing arts, she currently serves as Director of Development for International Ballet in Greenville County. This is her fifth season in the Herring Chamber Ensemble.
